Artist Statement

My work is about transitions. That dimension of time and events between waking, sleeping, death, love, dreaming, and eternity. The paintings in the current series, EXITS, ENTRANCES, portrays all the things that get in the way of being free to move beyond the present moment to fearlessly pursue what lies ahead. Do we dare to risk the unknown? The door is the passage to a new adventure, or the completion of another. Clear away the obstacles and move ahead!
